Conor McGregor mocked his former rival Floyd Mayweather for appearing in a window commercial on British television.
McGregor swapped the Octagon for the boxing ring in August 2017 to face Mayweather, who won in their lucrative crossover fight via a 10th round stoppage.
Despite losing that night, the UFC superstar continued to goad his former opponent over the next four years, recently denouncing his decision to face YouTuber Logan Paul in an exhibition bout. this week-end.
And now McGregor has taunted Mayweather again on social media, uploading images of him featured in an advertisement for a UK glazing company.
Along with Mayweather’s window-lashing clip, he sarcastically posted on Instagram, “That’s a good deal at Love Windows UK, guys! Make sure to check it out.”
McGregor has been desperate to bring the boxing legend back to the ring since he was arrested at the T-Mobile Arena four years ago.
After Mayweather’s infamous brawl with Jake Paul last month, the Irishman wrote on Instagram: Hey @leonardellerbe [Mayweather Promotions CEO], what f *** is Floyd?
“The kid has curled up, hasn’t hit back once, and Floyd is still playing the badass. The kid actually just got this mess out of a situation Floyd is in for him. . He should thank him. This is embarrassing!
“Pro to pro is embarrassing. He won’t scratch 10m for this fight and he knows it. It has already been called off once. The world is watching this on Twitter. He would fight a half-decent pro and command 20 m up, but that’s it crap.
“Whichever way you turn it, it’s sad. Fight someone for real, on your record, or fuck yourself mate. Hit your head!”
And McGregor will be delighted with Ellerbe’s response, as he claims Mayweather would be ready to face him again.
