A County Durham woman is delighted to have been chosen to feature in the new TV advert for Britain’s biggest bingo site.
Newton Aycliffe’s Nicola Jones is one of 25 Bingo Tombola players seen in the new advert which is due to appear on screens across the country from Monday.
The advert was filmed on location with actual players traveling to scenic Saltburn and York in North Yorkshire and Salcombe in Devon.
Players were able to enjoy a range of different activities, from breakfast at the beach and kite flying to buggy racing, cliff top walking, dancing with the buskers and at alfresco dining with the stars and live music as a backdrop.

Nicola, who is from Gilesgate, Durham, and has just moved with partner Newton Aycliffe, said: “The best part of the experience for me was meeting other players and the moderators face to face.
“I made a lot of new friends who I still talk to every day. Being part of the community is like being part of a very large extended family. We all take care of each other.
The 30-year-old, who works as an NHS secretary, said she was first attracted by a call for players to audition for the upcoming TV advert.
Nicola said: “I thought why not it would be a bit fun. I got an invite to the casting which was held in Leeds.
“We did a few activities and I was told that I had been selected for it.
“They took us to different places including Saltburn and York. We cycled, had afternoon tea and partied for the two days.
“I had a preview a few days ago and I’m delighted with it. I heard my voice there and I’m a bit in the announcement.
“It was fun and something I didn’t expect to be in. It’s coming out on Monday (August 22).

Nicola said: “I’ve told some people I’ll be a commercial, but I haven’t told them what and I’m just going to see if they can spot me.”
Tombola campaign manager Emma Luke said: “Our players are what make Tombola Britain’s biggest bingo site, so it’s only fitting that they play a role in our new advertising campaign.
“Our bingo community is so passionate about the raffle and our unique bingo games. We also had a lot of fun on set.”
